Ok, Went to LARP tonight. Playing the dumb-ass quite well now.

I have had a really bad headache since I woke up.

I get paid tomorrow! YAY!

ER was cool. And it was nice that the guy who lost his arm to the helicopter made gothic_oreo vomit in disgust. When I watched the tape, I just thought it was kind of cool. Now, if it were real life and I saw that...

Actually, I'm toying with a really stupid idea about Trans-Atlantic trains...I kind of like the idea of sea platforms housing cities along the track...All based on a long ago illustration I saw where they built a city under the sea, only with giat walls to hold the water back. How cool would that be?

And I LOVE the rain. Especially three day long remains of a tropical storm rain in the fall.

So what was the "big-ass surprise" they kept hyping in the ads for the season premiere, anyway? I haven't watched ER for a few years so I missed the big event, and will continue to miss it as the season goes on. Any time I show promises "a shocking moment that you won't want to miss" my idiot-level curiosity is needlessly piqued, however. Did you happen to have the Scrubs premiere taped for you, too? Now THAT is a quality hospital show, if you ask me. It's got its touching and poignant moments, but it's also laugh-out-loud funny to boot. In a sort of odd touch, last night's episode featured Colin Hay from Men at Work playing the role that Jonathan Richman played in There's Something About Mary, the random, re-appearing musical exposition guy. Only he kept playing the same song ("Overkill") over and over and over.

Giant cities on sea platforms!? Waterworld here we come!! Don't scoff now, without Kevin in it that movie could have been SO much better. Imagine it, for example, with Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead 1 & 2, Army of Darkness, etc.) in that same role, hamming it up like crazy. It would have been a really high quality B-movie. Instead Mr. Can't Act His Way Out of A Paper Bag brooded sullenly through the movie and brought its already slow pace to an absolute standstill. Missed opportunities . . .

Sorry to hear your colour-impairment is continuing. I just FINALLY found an end-around solution to the annoying computer problem that has been plaguing me for the past few weeks and practically danced for joy when I realized that it had actually worked. Now let's just hope that I don't really need to have that WinSRV program turned on for anything important!

Men At Work? *counts gray hair, remembering his vinyl collection*...Nah, I'm usually not home when Scrubs is on. The only ep I made it through involved "A Little Respect" by Erasure.

Waterworld was gawdawful...but then, I'm opne of the few people who absolutly loathes Kevin Costner. I slept through Dances With Wolves, and I ended up writing a rather scathing review of Fandango for Freshman Copm many moons ago. Yes, Bruce (who is coming to Columbus, and I'm going to see him come Hell or high water) could improve just about anything. Other than the '97 version of The Love Bug. I mean come on...Evil Herbie?

e.r. was okay, the decapitation was nice, but the episode lacked the wonderful emotional drama that it normally exudes.

*chuckles* To be honest, the only reason I ever watch ER is for Noah Wile.

And yeah, I like the song, but I also like "Singing in my sleep".
