I think it is just as silly to blame God for the acts of a few fanatics as it is to lump all gays into the same boat. I am gay, however I don't run around the streets with the back of my jeans torn apart for the world to see my ass, nor do I suck dick in public!
Perhaps they are actually conservative churches, and if so believe the part about not passing judgement. Of course I'm being optimistic and probably there are other reasons.A true conservative would believe the entire enchylada, not just the sauce!
