Damn weather

A few years back, my computer wouldn't turn on. It self-corrected in a few days for reasons unknown.

After this morning's lovely severe weather, it's doing the same thing.

(I have a surge protector before you all yell.)

Any rate, at the library, since I have a few things to return anyway.Just wanted to update folks on what's going on.

Mine's doing something weird lately - occasionally refusing to turn off. It starts to, but can't complete the operation, and "Force Quit" doesn't work. I hope it's not dying on me!

I think our machines give us messages! Let's see - refusal to switch off? Yes, I have been burning the candle at both ends a bit lately, not in fun and pleasure but overloading myself with work and then staying up till all hours to finish it, getting stressed.... If I want the computer to function more efficiently, perhaps I'd better mend my ways.

Wonder what an inability to switch on might mean???

Well, as I just discovered, it means I needed to reboot my surge protector.:)
