Sadly, I miss this old fantasy series on ABC from 1980somthing. I think it was called Wizards and Warriors or some such, and about the only thing I really remember is a trapped treasure chest. But it was a flipping awesome show.

That and CBS's Otherworld, about a family that stepped into an alternate universe by taking a wrong turn in the Great Pyramid in Egypt.

I really don't watch much TV anymore, so I really don't get hooked into shows the way I used to.

Although I think I could add Firefly and Babylon 5 to this list. But those I saw on DVD.

I just remember them being the talk of my First grade classroom.

Of course, I remember watching CHiPs, but let's not go there. It, along with Knight Rider and the Dukes of Hazard belong where they are;)

On Otherworld wasn't there the 2 parents and then a boy and a girl? Every episode they were trying to find a way home, but it wasn't totally unpleasant there?

W&W was kind of like a really low-budget BEASTMASTER...

Yeah, I don't miss CHiPs, Knight Rider or Dukes Of Hazzard at all...

but I DO miss Misfits Of Science.....

It was cheesy, but fun.. A bunch of teenagers who each had different mutant abilities..

Didn't Wizards & Warriors star a post-Taxi but pre-chemically-incapacitated-mess Jeff Conaway?

I quite remember the town ruled by women episode, because the teenage son became a "slave" at one point to be auctioned off. I remember laughing because he stated that he loved chicks, and the girls were asking why he liked chickens so much.

And I agree, the Doctor was cute. Although I'd pair him up with the preacher, personally.

I remember that episode!!! If I remember correctly, his mother or his sister had to buy him back, and the auctioning was fierce as a couple of the women there wanted him..

Yeah, something like that.

I really wish CBS would release it on DVD. I imagine it would be cheesy as hell now, but...

Maybe if enough people asked them for it on DVD... Worked for Northern Exposure .
