I may yet disprove my last post on being a quiet activist, particularly after reading the snide letter in today's Dispatch claiming that 90% of PWA'a are perverts.

I'm officially Pissed Off.

Wow. 90% of HIV+ people got the virus from "a perverted lifestyle" and the other 10% are "innocent women and children." How Eeeeeenteresting. There are no "non-perverted" men?

That letter-writer needs a boot to the head. I'd like to know where her statistics came from.

I'd prefer if she /did/ produce them, so I could see where they are coming from, so I could see where the misinformation chain begins.

But she probably doesn't /have/ statistical sources, and that's actually what I would like to uncover.

i agree James , this chaps my butt !!! My brother was one of the most kind and caring and gentle folks i have ever known then AIDS too him from this world and such a void fills my life even now 15 years later , how dare this woman speak on things she has no knowlege of in the first place !!! She most likley is so ring ring Christian fundie spewing crap filled with ignorance !! Those same people picketed his funeral with signs and screaming ...such horrid empty people are they ...... they and this woman are no doubt from that offensive website Godhatesfags.com this preacher is the very man who lead what happened at my brothers funeral as well ..they are such pigs
