I dunno. I think my attraction to the book and the later in the series book with a fetching picture of Joe toed to a tree should have been a real clue of an early bondage fetish.

Now that I'm older I can laugh and joke about it, but I did buy a copy when I was 18 at a used bookstore as a reminder.
