Aug. 19th, 2006 11:20 amSo I wound up at Snakes on a Plane, which could have just as easily been called Airport 2006. Seriously. Good movie, but it felt like I was watching an updated Irwin Allen movie minus the B-list actors.
By far the best bit was the use of a non-venomous/harmful to humans snake in a few scenes. (Red touching yellow can kill a fellow, red touching black, you're all right Jack.) Yep, us bio geeks got a chuckle out of that one. That and I seriously doubt the Boa could have done its big trick without CGI.
But yeah, worth the $8.
And then I got to see the first Pirates of the Carribean. I now understand the lust for Orlando Bloom. Good movie though.
