I've never managed to develop much long-term affection for any of the Buffyverse, for some reason. I'll see an episode here or there, and think that it was reasonably well-done television, but then have no real interest in continuing to watch the following week (next day in syndication, whatever). Despite my deep geek roots, I tend to have a knee-jerk aversion to anything that develops too enthusiastic a fan-base. Although admittedly I haven't stopped reading the Harry Potter books yet.
