1. Last I checked, Lestat was one of those special few AR vamps who tanned in the sunshine (and became comatose, but what the hey.)

2. Stephen King shares my opinion that SM is a hack. Which is funny, considering so many people say that of him.

I tend to agree with SK. His books (particularly later ones in his career) are readable. Twilight was pretty bad.
