It kind of amuses me that Will seems to be...contradicting himself...by the end. That isn't the right term, but...
I suppose what he's trying to say is that the ends are ok, but the means they were reached by are invalid. Any rate, it amuses me to no end that GW seems to be becoming less and less supportive of Shrub the longer he stays in office. Now if only Jonah Goldberg would wake up and smell the coffee. (Oh wait, he's written a few stabs at shrub too...but he prefers to add a few potshots at liberals with his punctures.)
