I realize they were all ghost-written, but as a kid, they were rather fun to read.
As for slash, Mabel Maney wrote several rather funny parodies involving "Nancy Clue and the Hardley Boys", with special guest, "Nurse Cherry Aimless". Not quite explicit, but still extremely funny.
