I hate McCain for several reasons. He is too liberal for my liking. He is a hypocrite and a career politician like no other (besides maybe Ted Kennedy). I hate his history with illegal immigration. I can't trust him on much of anything.

I'm all for getting the government out of marriage completely, including any and all benefits.

As for fiscal conservatism, the moment I started paying taxes I realize I didn't like it. I don't want them to slash everything...just most things. And I don't want it replaced by more, but there are some things that should be funded by the government, primarily the military. I'm cool with NASA, interstate highways I'm mixed on, energy I'm mixed on...but thats about it. I would be willing to compromise on other things such as education, health care, welfare, and a few others, but with a great reduction on costs.
